Juicy and Delicious Indian Mango - The Most Popular Fruit in the World
The mango is
a stone fruit that comes in many varieties and has a wonderful, sweet taste.
Mangoes can have a green, yellow, orange, red or multicoloured skin. The colour
of the skin is no indication of the ripeness of the mango. The ripe flesh of
the mango is soft and juicy, pale orange in colour, and has a texture ranging
from fibrous to almost the consistency of butter. The flesh tastes fresh and
sweet and emits a sweet fragrance. Eat the flesh of the mango plain or add it
to a salad or desert. The fresh, ripe mango
is a very juicy and sweet fruit with a unique and delicious taste. Some mangoes
have a soft and pulpy texture similar to an over-ripe plum, while others have a
firmer flesh similar to that of a cantaloupe.
Mangoes are widely used in chutney, fruit
bars, cereal products, juices, pies, ice creams, and even milk shakes. Although
a little messy due to their high juice content, they can be enjoyed simply by
slicing the fruit as you would a peach or pear. Find out all about our

In today's
world, being easily persuaded to eat a juicy and fatty burger and that slice of
pizza loaded with beef, cheese and the other heavenly food choices on earth
than your leafy greens for lunch is an understatement. People, even though they
do not know it yet, love to live their lives on the edge. A week may go by with
people not giving a care about the food that they inject inside their bodies
and not realizing that they are slowly becoming a ticking time bomb with an
unwritten death notice. That is why going for organic food is so important, and
learning how to appreciate it will definitely impact one's life on a positive
light. An example of an organic food that everyone should appreciate and love
is a pack of dried mango.
For years,
India has been unsuccessfully negotiating the
exportation of mangoes to the US, however just recently some agreements
have been finalized, clearing the way for exportation of mangoes from India to the US. In return,
they will allow the US to export peas, beans, almonds, and would you believe,
Harley Davidson motorcycles to India. Of those mangoes that currently make
their way to the US and Canada, approximately 80% come from Mexico with the
majority being grown in the Mexican state of Nayarit which is on the same
latitude as Hawaii.
